This tour starts at 9:00 am. in the San Blas square, whose church is the custody of the famous Pulpit of San Blas, carved entirely by sculptors from Cusco, the artist’s hands carved the wood as if it were a canvas with all the details that show the author’s exquisiteness. Following the tour we will visit the Cathedral, the most important and imposing monument of colonial architecture, for being a depository of multiple artistic manifestations. Built in what was the “Suntur Wasi” and “Kiswar Kancha” of the Inkas. Next, you will visit the museum of the church of La Merced where the famous jewel and relic La Custodia de la Merced is located; made in 24 carat gold and inlaid with 1518 diamonds, 615 stones (rubies, topazes and emeralds) and a great mermaid-shaped pearl, considered the second largest in the world. Finalizing we went to the temple of Santo Domingo and the Koricancka museum, a sacred place for the Incas where, in addition to venerating their deities, the deepest studies of the different sciences were developed. The tour will end at 13:00 approx.
