For
its unique beauty and historical, cultural,
and natural worth, Machupicchu along
with the Inka Trail and the neighboring
ruins was declared a National Archeological
park and Historic Sanctuary in 1970.
It consists of 32,000 hectares with
incredible cities and Inka temples,
abundant flora and fauna with unique
species many in danger of extinction
This is, without doubt, one of the most
magnificent hikes in the world because
of the profusion of perspectives that
confronts the explorer; who can walk
amongst impressive views of peaks and
glaciers into a tropical rain-forest,
and in some places, see carved flagstones
artistically decorating the trail, set
there by the Inkas over 500 years ago.
The
Cordillera Vilcanota with
shining snow-peaks crowned
by high clouds accompanies
us for a large part of the
trek and provides a contrast
to the rain-forest, rich
in orchids, epiphytes, flocks
of parrots, multicolored
butterflies and hummingbirds
To add a final touch of
magic, sections of the trail
run through Inka tunnels
and descend fabulous stairways
of stone that lead to the
most hidden of the Inka
temples. To make this trip
a pleasurable experience,
the hike will be slow and
easy. Our trained crew,
will provide nutritious
and delicious meals. Our

equipment and luggage with
expertise. On the last day
of the hike, we will arrive
at Inty Punku or Gate of
the Sun, the best way to
enter Machupicchu, then

1 To Lima Peru
Arrive to Lima international airport,
reception and transfer to a Hotel in
Miraflores, a nice suburb of Lima City

2 To Cusco Ancient Capital of the Inkas
Transfer in Lima, flight to Cusco,
meet and transfer to a Hotel in Downtown
Cusco, afternoon City Tour and Nearby

3 Sacred Valley of the Inkas
Full day visit to the Sacred Valley
of the Inkas by bus, including the Typical
Indian Market of Pisaq, then in the
afternoon we will be exploring the impressive
Inka Temple of Tambomachay, as well

4 The Inka Trail
We will take our bus to get
to Chillca, where we will start
to hike in the Inka Trail toward
to Machupicchu, passing throught
impressive Inka Ruins and warm

5 Inka Trail
Continuing our journey in
the Inka Trail ascending in a
trail surrounded of exotic flora
and colorful birds, get to the
Huarmihuañuska Pass with
impressive views of valleys surrounding

Day
6 Inka Trail
First ascending to Runkurakay high
Pass then an easy trail will take us
to the Sayaqmarka ruins and then to
Phuyupatamarca Camp, the trail will
be surrounded by diverse landscaping
until we get into a semi tropical jungle

Day 7 Inka Trail –Machupicchu
The royal trail can be appreciated
during the journey, the trail is full
of an incredible stone work ending in
the magnificent Inka temple of Machupicchu,
visit and descent by bus to Aguas Calinentes
for a relaxing bath in the Natural Hot
Springs Overnight in Aguas Calientes

8 Machupicchu
Early Morning visit to the
temple of Machupicchu, sunrise
is a extraordinary moment, after
a guided tour we will have the
option to hike Huaynapicchu Mountain,
late in the afternoon bus down
to Aguas Calientes and return
to Cusco by train. Hotel in Cusco

9 Machupicchu – Cusco
Free morning in Aguas Calientes,
optional last visit to Machupicchu,
or just to relax and shop in this
